Where and how are nails loaded? (J-105 EADHG, J-16 EADHG, J-19 EADHG)

Important: Check the legend embossed on the front plate (black "mouthpiece"). A nail symbol should be visible there, otherwise turn the front plate over. Turn the tool over, open the staple channel and lay the nails E(J16) into the channel on the same side as the nail groove in the front plate. 

  • Insert the nails into the staple channel.
  • Front plate.

Two staples are released when a shot is fired (J-105 EADHG, J-16 EADHG, J-19 EADHG)

There are type A (53) staples in the tool, but the front plate has been fitted for type D (53F) staples and must be turned over. Open the magazine, pull out the front plate, turn it over and push it back into place.   

 

Tip: Note the staple symbols embossed on the front plate.  

  • If necessary, turn the front plate so that the fastener can be used in the correct way.
  • Insert the nails into the staple channel.

No staple is released (J-105 EADHG, J-16 EADHG, J-19 EADHG)

Type D (53F) staples have been loaded into the tool, but the front plate has been fitted for type A (53) staples and must be turned over. Open the magazine, pull out the front plate, turn it over and push it back into place. 

 

Tip: Note the staple symbols embossed on the front plate.

Make sure the symbol matches the fastener being used.

Staples are not fully inserted (J-171, J-172A)

The tool must be pressed down firmly throughout the entire stapling process.

 

The extension lead / cable drum is too long. The cable should not be more than max. 10 metres long. 

 

Which staples can I use? (J-162)

Novus type H (size 37) staples can be used in this tool.
